Parts Clerk

Prepare and Track all company work orders on internal software package.
Receive, Unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials, Identify, label and catalogue items received. Store items in parts supply area. Process incoming requisitions, issue and distribute parts and supplies to mechanics. Assist shop mechanics with the use of the internal software package. Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, Advise on use and appropriateness of goods or parts, Maintain records on inventory control system, Prepare and supervise the taking of phyiscal inventory. Answer customer inquiries. Handle over the counter sales.

Must have completed high school or technical training.

Good skill level with regards to Windows, Internet, Word Processing Software, SpreadSheet Software, Inventory Control Software, Electronic Mail and General office equipment.

Working Conditions, Exposure to Shop Conditions, Intermittent exposure to outdoors weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a daily basis. May be require to travel off-site.
Exposure to dust and dirt.

Safety equipment will be required,(Steel-toed safety boots)

The Parts position will work directly with the Shop Foreman. Report to Fleet Manager.

Work Schedule: To be determined with employee’s Manager/Supervisor Based on organizational needs.
