BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR
We have an opening for a permanent full-time Business Administrator starting December 2013. The Business Administrator is a member of the senior management team and is responsible, under the direction of the Medical Officer of Health, for the planning, organization, and administration of the staff and services of the Administration department. This position is also responsible for accounting and finance, as well as management and security of our technological systems. It maintains and develops Board property, equipment and leasehold improvements. It takes the lead on human resource management and has overall responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of our payroll system. This position will be of interest to those candidates currently earning $75,000-$85,000 per annum.
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce with successful completion of courses in advanced financial accounting and business law.
§ Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation
§ Minimum of five years' experience in management and administration.
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
§ Immunizations in accordance with Board Policy
§ Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a safe and well maintained vehicle suitable for carrying out duties on behalf of the employer
§ Experience in computer network management is an asset.
