The Business Assistant for the Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for providing professional and administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

The successful candidate will be extremely well organized with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting demands, tight deadlines and business sensitive information with care and discretion.
Specific Responsibilities:

Supports the senior management in ensuring the Board of Directors and various Board Committees (for e.g., Risk Review Committee) receive appropriate and timely information.
Provides general administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer in various capacities including:
Prepare reports, draft professional correspondence as directed and provide assistance with documentation review;
Coordinate, schedule and attend meetings, preparing the related correspondence, reports and other follow up;
Organize and maintain confidential files;
Provide administrative support with regard to departmental budgeting processes;
Coordinate business travel arrangements for the Chief Risk Officer;
Handle first line telephone and email inquiries;
Photocopy, compile and organize information and documentation as required;
Sort and distributing incoming mail;
Order office supplies;
Prepare draft expense reports for the Chief Risk Officer.

Ability to perform well in a busy operation, remain calm under pressure and adapt to a changing environment;
High level of maturity and integrity with respect to confidential information.
Qualifications:

Completed relevant undergraduate degree;
5+ years of experience in a secretarial / administrative support position;
Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting a senior executive and / or experience providing administrative support in a fast paced environment;
Demonstrated proficiency with Outlook and all MS Office applications.
